Course Overview

Information Technology develops a wide range of skills and experiences required to design and develop software and systems, along with the capacity to create and integrate new computing technologies that enhance effectiveness in business, entertainment and social enterprise operations. This course will allow you to build a strong foundation with core IT skills that you can apply to multiple industries and technologies.

UK Degree Transfer Programme (Science) at UCSI College

Foundation Studies

Pass with CGPA 2.0 and credit in Mathematics at SPM level*

A-Level

Pass with Grade E in 2 subjects inclusive of Mathematics

SACE International

Pass with ATAR 60 with a score of 60% in Mathematics and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level*

STPM

Pass with a Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in any 2 subjects and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level

UEC

Pass with 5 Credits (B6) including Mathematics

International Baccalaureate (IB)

Pass with 24 points and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level

Canadian Pre-University (CPU)

Pass with an average score of 60% in 6 subjects including Mathematics

Other related diploma programmes

Pass with CGPA 2.5 and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level*

Any equivalent qualification recognized by the Malaysian government

Note: *The requirement to obtain a credit in Mathematics can be waived should the qualification contain the Mathematics subject with equivalent or higher achievement.

English Proficiency Requirement

A minimum score of Band 3 in MUET, 5.0 in IELTS or 47 in PTE Academic or its equivalent, or
Grade A in the English Language subject at SPM/UEC level
