Economics and Mathematics investigate topics in mathematics and mathematical applications in economics. Mathematics develops strong problem-solving skills that will complement the economics side of your course and allow you to understand the more complex elements of the subject so that you can examine the decisions of individuals, the strategies of firms and the policies of individuals.

Pass with an average score of 60% in 6 Subjects

Any equivalent qualifications recognised by MQA (subject to approval)

Note: *The requirement to pass Mathematics and English subjects at SPM can be waived should the qualification contain the Mathematics and English subjects with equivalent or higher achievement.

English Proficiency Requirement

A minimum score of Band 3 in MUET, 5.5 in IELTS or 51 in PTE Academic or its equivalent.
