University of Essex

Accounting is more than just about a study about cutting cost and managing transactions. Students must be aware that Accounting is also about ensuring accountability by encouraging sound and ethical decision making. Through a firm understanding of the financial drivers underpinning business leadership, strategy, planning, governance and ethics, students will explore both financial and management accounting. The students will learn through case studies and practical in-depth independent dissertation to further develop their employability skills on top of the opportunity to gain an additional qualification from accredited professional bodies giving our graduates a head start in their future career.

Pass with an average score of 60% in 6 Subjects

Any equivalent qualifications recognised by MQA (subject to approval)

Note: *The requirement to pass Mathematics and English subjects at SPM can be waived should the qualification contain the Mathematics and English subjects with equivalent or higher achievement.

English Proficiency Requirement

A minimum score of Band 3 in MUET, 5.5 in IELTS or 51 in PTE Academic or its equivalent.
