Study
The Australian Matriculation (AUSMAT) programme is a popular pathway to universities in Australia and all around the world. The SACE International programme (previously known as SAM) has been the AUSMAT of choice in Malaysia since 1982. The programme prepares students for life beyond the classroom and teaches them to be innovative thinkers to thrive in the 21st century. It is designed as an entry route to universities across the globe, especially in Malaysia, Australia, the UK, the US and Canada.
Assessments
70% School Assessment and
30% External Examination
Note: All assessments and grades are converted into the Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) at the end of the programme. The ATAR score is calculated based on the four highest scoring subjects and 50% from the 5th highest scoring subject. The ATAR measures a student’s overall academic achievement as compared to his or her peers. For example, an ATAR of 95 means the student performed better than 95% of his or her peers who has completed the programme.
