100 percent passing A-Level, UCSI College continues to maintain performance

KUALA LUMPUR - UCSI College continues to repeat its 100 percent passing rate in the Cambridge GCE A-Level programme.
A total of 43 students celebrated with their teachers and parents at an annual A-Level Awards Day 2020 at UCSI College, Kuala Lumpur recently.

Also present at the event were representatives from SMJK Yu Hua, REAL Schools Cheras Campus and SMK Taman Connaught.
The awards ceremony saw 29 students receive certificates of achievement for A-Level and another 14 for AS-Level.
The students proved that excellent results are not impossible.
In the November 2019 exam series, 50% of UCSI College students achieved straight As and 54% achieved 3As and above.
The percentage of A *-B for Chemistry, Physics, Economics, Mathematics and Advanced Mathematics was 75% and above while other subjects were achieved with more than 50%.
For AS-level, 40% achieved straight As. The percentage of A * -B for all subjects was more than 75% except for Chemistry, Economics, Accounting and Psychology.
Two students, Kim Min-Cheol and Song Chaehyun, proved that 5A* is not impossible when it was announced that they had topped the A-Level chart in the previous year.
Meanwhile, Thean Zhen Hui, Lee Sang Hee and Praveen Durai Duraai were announced as among the best students in the world through AS-Level Mathematics for May to June 2019.
Foo Sze Wei, who earned 4A* won first place for the Best Across Four Subjects AS-Level award.
All students also received words of encouragement and advice from the UCSI College President and CEO, Associate Professor Dr Mabel Tan when she delivered her speech at the ceremony.
Many of the parents were present at the event.
According to her, the achievements of all these outstanding students were due to their effort and perseverance in studying tirelessly to achieve success.
In fact, he also expressed his appreciation for the support of parents and the dedication of teachers who taught in various ways to ensure their children's success.
In a similar speech, Dr Mabel reminded all students that Intelligence Quotient (IQ) is not a yardstick for success in life, and instead they need to develop and increase Emotional Quotient (EQ) as well as other positive attitudes such as empathy, trust building and good relationship building with friends.
