Board of Governors
Dr. Chin Peng Kit
BA (Hons), MA, DBA
Dr Chin Peng Kit graduated with a BA (First Class Honours) in English Literature (with a minor in Linguistics), and an MA in English Literature (also with a minor in Linguistics) from Victoria University, New Zealand, and then a DBA (Doctor of Business Administration) from the University of South Australia. From 2008-2009, he was the Deputy Vice Chancellor of UCSI University, after holding various positions in UCSI University including the Vice-President of Corporate Affairs. Before that, he worked in several Malaysian colleges and university colleges in various capacities including as Registrar, Deputy Programme Director and as a lecturer in English Language and American Literature. Dr Chin has a passion for teaching and education, and had wanted to be a teacher since he was nine years old, when he would play “cikgu” with his neighbour friends. Although he is retired, he still loves being in a classroom interacting with students; and so, for the plain and pure love of it, he is presently teaching a few classes at an international school. He especially enjoys teaching English Literature, Math and the Sciences (although, given half a chance, he will happily talk at length about movies, comics and science-fiction).
